Brooklands Hotel - Bournemouth

What a lovely gem right in the heart of Bournemouth! The room had a lovely ambience, and I liked the blue and white theme. Having a coffee machine in the room was also a nice touch. The mattress was a bit worn, but I am sure it will be replaced at some stage.

We had a truly memorable stay for holidays.

It was weekend and we would definitely go again.

The units are airy with 4 beds.

During my stay as a solo traveler, I was looking for a convenient place near local attractions. The great location allowed me to easily visit places like the Oceanarium and Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, all within a short stroll. The room was clean with all the basics, and I appreciated having a kettle for tea and coffee. the noise from guests and some noisy reception phones did disrupt my sleep a bit. it was a manageable experience.

We loved being here. Travelled with our children, spent 1 night here and had a really comfortable stay. It had very central location close to a live music venue.

Everywhere there was fairly clean.

great stay but a couple of hiccups

The staff were cute, accommodating our early check-in with no hassle. The room was immaculate, perfect for our family with soft towels and a lovely large shower. The little extra time given for car parking was a thoughtful touch, great to enjoy more of our time before departing.

During my four-night stay, noise from other guests created a significant disturbance. The curtains in my room did not close properly, allowing morning light to invade my space far too early. I noted a cleanliness issue with a stain on my bed cover that took a while to be addressed.

The breakfast was sensational, well presented and with plenty of options. It was in a very central location, in general everything is great for the price. Apart from that, Afternoon tea was 5 minutes' drive away.

It was very very close to where I had by business meeting and the staff were very accommodating

When making a choice to stay in the hotel I was mostly influenced by the photos displayed on hotel's website. Hats off to the photographer! Sadly the reality was different. The room had a rather patchy walls and sign of mould in the bathroom. Equipment (except for the TV) was rather ancient, old carpet with a massive stain in a middle of the room. When having a shower I could tell that it was not cleaned properly after the previous guests.

Take advantage of the complimentary early check-in to explore nearby attractions before settling into your room.

Lovely staff, lovely room and lovely breakfast, what more could you want!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming.they were very helpful and told us everything we needed to know.the location of the hotel was perfect! It was close to town which made it ideal fir getting into town in the evening and if we had wanted to go to the beach it was perfect walking distance.compared to where are friends stayed brooklands was definently good value for money!!!

Would have preferred more plugs in the room :-)
